Monyash Quaker Meeting House
Monyash is the site of an historic Quaker Meeting House; the oldest in Derbyshire. The building is now in private ownership. The burial ground can be visited by prior agreement. Contact clerktotrustees@nottsandderbyquakers.org.uk
Meeting in Wirksworth once a month
On the first Tuesday of the month a small group meet at 6.00 pm in Waltham House, St John’s Street, Wirksworth. The meeting is for thirty minutes in the manner of Quakers, sharing a time of silence and companionship afterwards.
All are most welcome to join.
Meeting in Buxton on the first and third Monday of a month
On the first and third Monday of each month (including bank holidays), the Quaker worship group in Buxton meet at 7.15 pm in St Mary’s Church, Dale Road, Buxton, SK17 6LN. Meeting for Worship is 45 minutes. Afterwards time for companionship and refreshments.
