Fritchley

Fritchley Quakers – 16 miles away

Welcome to Fritchley Quaker Meeting

A number of Fritchley Quakers still live in the village but more than formerly are drawn from elsewhere in the Area Meeting. The meeting house, built in 1897 to a traditional “chapel” design is situated in the centre of the village. Fritchley is unusual in that it has a rural village setting and for just over a century (1864-1967) placed itself outside London Yearly Meeting and operated independently. It is now a full part of Britain Yearly Meeting.

Meeting is held every Sunday at 11:00 am. Children’s class operates on demand, please notify if possible ahead of time.
